Here comes the sun!

The storm has more or less petered out now. The sun is fighting to come out though it's still overcast. There are still strong gusts blowing around 40 mph but the rain has stopped. Kissimmee lost power during this storm - a tree fell on a power line - but it's restored now. There were a few felled trees in town as well but nothing at all serious.

Just since I started typing, there's a ray of sunlight coming through the window! Now the temp will start dropping (it's 61 right now) and slowly drop into the 40's tonight. It's a welcome change for sure.

We plan to take Grandma back to her place tonight after we have supper (baked chicken, roasted potatoes and probably some form of veg). We'll of course make sure she has power before we do anything.

So Wilma is now a closed case, I don't plan on blogging anymore about it unless there's some event that warrants it.
