TS Franklin

It seems rather crass to journal about weather with all the terrible things continuing to happen in London but that will be for another blog on another day.

We've a 50/50 shot of being under a direct Tropical Storm visit from TS Franklin. Yesterday they said he'd smack us head on. Today they are saying it will veer off to the north. This high pressure system has been hovering over us like a deflector shield which is why with the exception of Dennis' outbands we've been spared any freaky weather.

Last year's "F" storm was Frances which came about nearly 3 weeks from today. This years activity has really been something.
