The End of the Season

Hurricane Season officially ended yesterday. There is/was a storm swirling around - Epsilon - but with temps dropping into the 30's and 40's here, we're not too worried about it being a threat.

The season has hardly gone out with a whimper - the international meteorological society (whatever it is called!) - is reviewing the number of storm names it allocates in a season. Hurricanes are generally expected to get worse not better, apparently.

At any rate, Hunker Down is officially closed for the season! If there is by any crazy chance a tropical system that shows up before June of next year I'll reopen. For random thoughts and probably comments on the winter weather around here, I have another blog called
Far Away, So Close (click here) which started as a scrapbooky type thing but has become a daily blog anyway.

So, if you're up north...now it's your turn to Hunker Down! Hahaha!
